Why first founder - Hiro Started Manga Treasures
I started Manga Treasures because I kept hearing the same frustration from friends living abroad: “I want to read Japanese manga in its original form, but I don’t know what to buy — and shipping from Japan is a hassle.”
As someone who reads hundreds of volumes every year, I realized I could help bridge that gap.
There are so many incredible works being published in Japan — award winners, deep stories for adult readers, and beautifully crafted series — but most of them never reach overseas audiences.
Manga Treasures was born from a simple idea: curate genuinely great Japanese manga and deliver them reliably, with care, to readers who value the original experience.
